What you’ll do

  • Provide task direction and guidance to other staff members on the team
  • Serve as the point of contact for first-level escalations to the team for technical and support issues
  • Collaborate with network teams to optimize network configuration, network management, and network monitoring
  • Lead the team in completing incident closure and outage recovery within established SLAs
  • Design and implement advanced monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using monitoring tools, automation, and robotic processes.
  • Oversee real-time incident detection, escalation, and resolution processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and implement operational playbooks to address critical incidents.
  • Direct and mentor the team to deliver peak operational performance.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to align operations with business goals.
  • Provide operational reports and insights including SLA compliance, resolution times, partners, and team performance metrics.
  • Carriying out the necessary RPA and script works to automate of daily operational tasks

Who you are

  • Degree qualified in Engineering discipline preferably Telecommunication, Electronics or Computer Science
  • Minimum 7 years experience in Telecommunication sector
  • Hands-on experience in Network Operations
  • Hands-on experience of Router/Switch management
  • Good understanding of Network & Connectivity services and products
  • Good understanding of Network protocols & Technologies (Sd-wan, TCP/IP, BGP, Lan-Wan, etc)
  • Good understanding of IP network technologies 
  • Certification in CCNA
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Team leading with strong interpersonal communication capabilities
  • Customer support operations management skills
  • Partner & Eco-System management skills
  • Planning and organization management skills
  • Advance troubleshooting skills 
  • Analytical thinking
  • Energetic, Motivated and Enthusiastic towards learning
