Job Description
In this role you will be a trusted advisor within Experian Auto, providing thoughtful pricing strategy recommendations and ensuring timely responses to business opportunities. You will bring experience performing financial analysis of costs and prices, as well as competitive analysis of product pricing and offerings. You see the big picture and are a critical part of helping the business growth profitably.
The CPQ Pricing Analyst will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and IT development teams to ensure the effective implementation of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) configurations aligned with Experian Automotive’s business requirements. This role combines the skills of a Business Analyst and Project Manager, requiring a deep understanding of pricing strategies, business processes, and project management methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze CPQ requirements related to pricing strategies, discount structures, and product configurations.
- Conduct thorough reviews of existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Configuration:
- Work closely with the IT development team to translate business requirements into effective CPQ configurations within the Salesforce CPQ platform.
- Ensure accurate and efficient pricing rules, discount structures, and product configurations to meet Experian Automotive’s pricing strategies.
- Management:
- Lead CPQ implementation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Create or update documentation of processes impacted by project.
- Communication:
- Act as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure end-users understand and adopt CPQ configurations effectively.
- Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing of CPQ configurations to validate accuracy, functionality, and performance.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance CPQ processes and configurations over time.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in pricing or a similar Finance Business role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager, preferably in a CPQ or pricing-related role.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, discount structures, and product configurations.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ or similar CPQ platforms is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
This is a permanent home-based role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
