To create value through generation, interpretation and communication of medical and scientific information and creative scientific ideas converted into marketing practices offering competitive advantage to the company. Interacts with a variety of divisional and/or corporate departments such as marketing and sales, legal affairs, regulatory affairs as well as above country stakeholders. External co-operation with relevant national advisory boards, peer groups, industry associations and healthcare professionals is required. Ensuring compliance in all promotional activities with local laws, regulations, GSK standards and Scientific Engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drives the delivery of all Medical plans and activities to agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards in alignment with internal Policies/ Standards and external regulations
- Plans and actively follows medical budget for the related products.
- Developing and maintaining relations with Key External Experts (KEEs) to create advocates for the products as well as planning and driving scientific engagement activities (i.e. Advisory Board, Scientific Workshop, etc.)
- Actively participating in development and execution of medico-marketing strategies for related drugs by close collaboration with the marketing and market access functions.
- Preparing and delivering medical and product training (diseases, new or existing products of GSK or competitors, etc.) to the Field Force, contract Field Force and Product Managers.
- Assisting in the Medical Approval process in order to ensure the compliance of promotional materials and activities with local laws, regulations and GSK standards.
- Reviewing the promotional materials and activities of competitors and notifying the related company, MoH and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Association if not compliant with the local laws, regulations and AIFD code.
- Providing medical support for the registration process and the labelling of the products
- Providing the necessary feedback for GSK products to take place in the reimbursement list, following up the current situation and actively participating in the action plans.
- Responding to customer inquiries related with his/her products and/or therapeutic areas.
- Providing medical input for the planning and implementation phases of Clinical Trials and/or non-interventional studies.
- Planning and driving the local GSK supported /sponsored clinical trials and/or non-interventional studies.
- Reporting Adverse Events in compliance with local regulations and existing GSK procedures
- Supporting MedInfo Team for responding to literature search requests and if needed, for transferring the requests.
- Maintaining and updating the temporary archives in his/her responsibility and the corresponding sections in the Medical Library.
- Participates in the planning and execution of below activities in collaboration with the Marketing, Sales and Human Resources Divisions.
- Represents GMM for relevant projects or ongoing work whenever delegation is required.
- On assignment, coaches and trains newly hired medical staff in Medical Department.

Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Have a university degree in medicine (MD)
- Having minimum 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Capability in driving and managing the medical strategy for various brands in the pharmaceutical industry
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications
- Excellent presentation and teaching skills and to represent GSK in a professional manner at medical, scientific and public events.

- Capability in influential skills ability to form relationships quickly and have demonstrable persuasive abilities.
- Capability on resource management and financial skills to control budgets
- Capability in Business Acumen:
- Robust knowledge of disease area including the needs of patients, prescribers, consumers, regulators and payers
- Robust knowledge of Industry, GSK business model & core strategic processes and understanding the value-added role of medical in strategic brand/portfolio planning
- Capability to have a deep understanding of compliance
- Capability in execution of all governance processes
