As Senior People Advisor, you’ll play a vital part in our success, supporting our leaders and employees on the site with their HR queries so that they can focus on their own jobs. Taking care of their issues, whether big or small, and making sure they get a great employee experience in every interaction with HR.

We want to be a team that makes the lives of our employees and leaders better and easier in the moments that matter. A People Advisor is responsible for acting as first point of contact for employees and take ownership of managing each HR related query to conclusion to deliver a positive employee experience.

We are looking to hire a new colleague to join our Front-Line People Organization (FLPO). You will be based on-site in our new warehouse in Istanbul, Turkey.

Key Responsibilities

Your role as Senior People Advisor will be to solve the HR-related queries of our employees and leaders and make sure their interaction with HR results in a great experience. For this you will:

  • Own people’s queries about HR policies and procedures, understand their needs, investigate options, seek solutions, and partner with other HR colleagues to resolve the queries.
  • Work in close connection with our warehouse leaders to support with absence, discipline, and grievances issues.
  • Support leaders and employees with queries regarding pay and benefits and time and attendance.
  • Support and coach leaders in recruitment processes, interviewing with them as required.
  • Collaborate with the managers to draft and deploy a site engagement plan.
  • Actively work in Workday (our HR management system) and maintain case trackers, driving timely action where needed.
  • Guide and train employees and managers in the HR systems and HR service delivery model
  • Support the delivery of the HR Cycle with co-ordination and administration related to hiring, onboarding, annual performance management, job moves, exit, etc.
  • Implement a comprehensive communication plan to ensure all company and site updates reach all associates, utilizing various channels such as notice boards, TV screens, start-of-shift briefs, etc.
  • Ensure the accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness of various HR-related documents. Key documentation review responsibilities could include Employee Records, HR Policies & Procedures, Compliance Auditing, and Benefits & Compensation. Mitigate potential legal and compliance risks through diligent review and maintenance of documentation. 
  • Active participation in various HR related projects.

Who we are looking for

Saying that you should be service-minded is an understatement: we need you to be passionate about delivering great employee experience! You have a lot of patience, empathy, and drive to take care of every employee’s query.

As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for: 

  • Experience in an HR role in an operations environment (warehouse or factory).
  • Understanding of how pay principles and shifts work in an operations environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Turkish labour law as well as a strong foundation and understanding of HR principles, practices, and legal compliance requirements.
  • Experience in resolving employee relations issues.
  • Great collaboration and communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and verbal Turkish and English.
  • Experience in Workday or other HRIS would be an asset.
