Why is this role really critical to us? 

• To manage MW environment as level 3 operation team. 
• To protect Application Server KnowHow for Vodafone Applications. 
• To define MW standards before new developments.
• To resolved production problems in relation with Application Servers.
• To Implement DR plans for servers and applications in case of disaster.
• To be a DR SPOC for integration operation team and Communicate with other operation teams SPOCs in case of disaster.

How will you spend your time at Vodafone?

• Analyse new/upcoming technologies and to evaluate their impacts on current systems/environment
• Provide assistance in new projects during following stages : designing, initiation, operation 
• Assurance of predefined KPIs. 
• Following up on reported defects within predefined SLA; making sure it is solved within predefined SLA
• Periodic monitoring and performance tuning of the systems
• Responsible for configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting and monitoring any issues for Order Management (OSM), Tibco sytems and Installation and configuration of Weblogic, Websphere and Load Balancer.
• Performance management to ensure platform, hardware, application and content meets the specified end to end availability & performance levels.
• Ensure that, the partners keep relevant documentation and procedure manuals up to date.
• Management of SLA performance.
• Accountable for improving operating costs for the product/service.
• Comply with VFTR’s information security policy, standards and procedures, available under Intranet / Corporate Security Library,
• Protect VF TR’s information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference,
• Ensure that VFTR BCM policy /standard ,procedures ,plans implemented and works carried out in compliance with BS 25999 -2:2007 Standard .
• Ensure that BCM risks are assessed and mitigated so far as is reasonably practicable in VFTR Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)
• Ensure VTR BCMS by planning, establishing, embedding, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving within VFTR

You are just the person we’ve been looking for, if you have: 

• 5 years experience in Websphere -Weblogic Administration and application server installation and administration (like Apache, Tomcat, ,Jboss, IIS) 
• 5 years experience in Unix platforms
• 3 years experience in advanced level Batch Scripting like shell, perl, tcl.
• 1 years experience in Java programming and tuning, develop applications in Java.
• 1 years experience in Oracle base level administration and SQL usage.
• Base knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, routing, etc.) , 
• Significant experience of HTTP, HTTPs messagng.
• Experience of Management & Debugging Tools (Wireshark, Fiddler, SoapUI, JConsole, JMeter, Tcpdump, etc)
• Experience of monitoring tools (Wily, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Tivoli(Netcool), SNMP, etc)
• Experience on Load Balancer management and performance monitoring tool management preferred.
• Experience on certificate management. 
• Experience on OSM and Tibco is a plus.
• Experience on Openshift and Kubernetes env.
• Excellent command of English
• Good team player skills
• Ability to work with ambitious timelines in a dynamic, high-growth environment
• Strong communication / interpersonal and decision making skills – ability to balance conflicting interests
