Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will help lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of a first line controls testing program in the Finance organization. As a leader of the first line controls testing team you will have people leadership responsibilities. 

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The First Line Controls Testing – Risk Management – Senior Manager role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Provide direct leadership to members of the controls testing team
  • Assist senior leadership with the design and implementation of the first line controls testing program strategy and vision 
  • Help develop and put into practice the program framework and methodology 
  • Aid in the determination of the program communication strategy and put into place 
  • Help develop and monitor a comprehensive multi-year program roadmap and plan
  • Continue to build and develop the team by staffing with qualified employees
  • Assist with the documentation and implementation of all requisite policies, standards, procedures, and job aids to guide the program
  • Support the development and delivery of a comprehensive training curriculum for the team and key stakeholders
  • Help develop and socialize an engagement model with key stakeholders and other lines of defense
  • Aid in the design and implementation of program reporting and dashboards to track / monitor progress and results
  • Present program testing results to key stakeholders across the Enterprise
  • Lead and/or oversee process and control walkthroughs executed by the team
  • Oversee the control design & implementation and operating effectiveness testing performed by the team
  • Ensure control testing results are appropriate and workpapers meet internal quality standards
  • Communicate issues identified during testing to key stakeholders

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 6 years of experience
  • 2+ year of people management experience
  • Project management and leadership experience
  • Control testing, Internal or External audit experience

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Finance and Accounting experience
  • Building or transforming a control testing or audit program
  • Building a team and training program
