Grand Hyatt Kuwait is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Chef De Cuisine who enjoys preparing stunning and innovative Turkish and Ottoman classics with great inspirations in this very vibrant and animated Turkish restaurant. This food hall eatery will offer Turkish specialties from fragrant mezzes to stunning pastries all day long.

This position requires hands-on leadership with strong people management and communication skills capable of inspiring a team in a high energy space. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day to day operations of this all day complex eatery.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are Turkish nationals and have experience in a similar operation.

  • Previous experience as Chef De Cuisine in Turkish specialty restaurants.
  • An instinctive eye for details and very keen passion for Ottoman cuisine.
  • An inspirational and engaging leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A relentless and infectious passion for foods and restaurant trends.
  • A sound pre-opening experience in large hotel operations would be advantageous
