Kidney Care is a verticalized business in EMEA consisting of our Chronic business, which comprises In Center HD and PD as well as our Acute Therapies business. Our vision is to leverage and profitably grow our consumables and services businesses through existing and new innovative products and services that enhance patient outcomes and improve efficiencies throughout the care pathway.

We are looking for a Commercial Finance Partner to support our vision, offering an attractive career journey within the Finance organization for the CEETI cluster.

As a Commercial Finance partner your role will be to provide insights driving decision making in alignment with the strategic direction of the business through strong collaboration with your business partners and functions.

Together with your business partner you will own the financial statements results and processes of the assigned geography ensuring that commitments are met while maintaining full compliance with the company’s financial policies, internal controls and business compliance standards.

Your key stakeholders will be

  • EMEA Finance Director and Leadership team
  • CEETI Commercial Leadership Team
  • Finance teams (Accounting, FP&A, Supply Chain Finance)
  • Support Functions

Key Responsibilities:

  • With a focus on Decision Support activities you will be responsible for preparing exploratory and predictive analytics, supporting tenders/deal decisions with profitability analysis and providing business analysis to support strategic decisions across the Clusters in Western Europe.
  • Working together with Cluster Business Unit Heads, provide insightful analysis for price, product, customer, and market channels to identify forward thinking business recommendations that can be driven to execution.
  • Prepare new business models for New Product Launches or Business development Opportunities working closely with Global Business Unit to ensure alignment with long-term Regional objectives and strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Teams at cluster and regional level to understand sales force metrics, sales incentives, dashboards, KPI definitions and distributor trends to build proposals to accelerate profitable business growth
  • Evaluate the ROI of incremental and existing SG&A costs, identifying areas for improvement
  • Challenge the optimization of the asset base including sales associated with lease capex, accounts receivable, inventory management and management of associated risks
  • Ad hoc Business Project support and analysis
  • Support the FP&A and Business teams with input for Forecast, Budget and Long Range Plan cycles.
  • Closely collaborate with Controlling function to ensure proper financial statements, understanding of results and enhance financial planning capabilities.
  • Support Compliance related activities through input in external or internal audits as requested and participate in Local Cluster Compliance Committee as a senior Finance representative for the Cluster.
  • Member of of the EMEA Commercial Finance Team driving improvements, best practice and harmonization across our team as well as participating in European projects when required.
  • Lead and participate in other activities as assigned by Manager.

Education/Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (country equivalent)
  • Qualified Accountant – Chartered or Management Accountant
  • Minimum of 6-10 years experience in broad financial roles with multi-national companies, ideally in Business Partnership capacity
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) – additional languages in scope of geography is a plus
