At HR Services EMEA in our Service Hub Berlin, we stand for comprehensive HR service delivery throughout the region of Europe, Middle East & Africa. We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of (Senior) Specialist for Turkish Payroll who will be responsible for payroll administration, processing, and verification of master data. The successful candidate will serve as the main contact for employee inquiries, handle official documentation, and ensure compliance with Turkish legal requirements. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to global-scale projects along with other colleagues. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines will be crucial in delivering high-quality payroll services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer and process monthly payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Verify, update, and maintain master data and payroll data records.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, addressing their needs promptly and accurately.
  • Prepare final settlement calculations, exit documents and other official personnel documents as requested.
  • Generate and provide employees with official signed documents such as payroll statements, tax documents, and working employee documents.
  • Stay up-to-date with Turkish payroll legislation and regulations, implementing necessary amendments to ensure compliance.
  • Handle communication and declarations towards social security institutions, and actively participate in audits related to payroll and time management.
  • Execute monthly reports: post payroll reporting (accounting), payroll accuracy checks, fulfill the corporate payroll audit requirements & checks. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the field of Turkish payroll
  • Proficient in working with IT systems, particularly MS Office applications, and possess solid MS Excel skills
  • Native Turkish speaker with a high level of comfort in English, enabling effective communication in an international environment
  • Detail-oriented and capable of analytical thinking, maintaining clarity even under pressure
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting deadlines
  • Friendly and service-oriented attitude towards customers and local partners, contributing to the success of the team
