Market Access Manager will report into the Director of Market Access & Regulatory Affairs and will be responsible for Market Access, Pricing, Health Economics and Public Affairs through working in close collaboration with the local marketing, medical, sales, business excellence teams in addition to global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Pricing and Value & Access teams to develop the market access strategies, value proposition and plans. The key responsibilities of this role encompass leading the constitution of the reimbursement strategies and related implementation as preparation of reimbursement dossiers to SSI, the development of pricing strategies, management of price negotiation and the implementation with a broad collaboration and coordination with local, regional and global internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Develops and executes market access strategies and evidence generation plans to meet reimbursement submission requirements aligned with country objectives
  • Works cross functionally with global and local medical and commercial functions to develop value propositions and messages tailored to multiple stakeholders including payers, clinicians and policy makers
  • Project lead (including day to day management) for reimbursement submissions, and pricing strategies for both existing and new pipeline products (Oncology & Cardiovascular)
  • Contributes to the development and evaluation of innovative pricing strategies (including submissions)
  • Fosters key relationships with stakeholders and implement action plans for realization of stakeholder engagement regarding existing and pipeline products
  • Anticipates and shapes future dynamics in the external environment impacting market access and reimbursement, working closely with global teams to convey requirements for programme development to satisfy local needstegic partner for internal stakeholders to ensure continuous process flow for our oncology pipeline
  • Design and implement related public affairs plans on the corresponding disease area on top of market access, reimbursement and pricing strategies
  • Maintains strong compliance with all relevant internal policies, compliance and legal requirements and enhancement of our RA processes

Skills and additional Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years strategic market access experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a consultancy
  • Degree educated in a relevant scientific discipline
  • MSc in health economics or equivalent preferred
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Turkish Healthcare systems and reimbursement processes
  • Ability to combine strategic vision with tactical hand-on execution and a high work capacity
  • Strong technical skills with prior experience in assessing and critiquing health economic models
  • Highly analytical with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skill with the ability to build working relations both internally and externally
  • Disease area expertise in the Oncology and/or Cardiovascular is preferred
  • Experience in working in a dynamic, lean environment is preferred
  • Customer focused
  • Fluent in English
