Today, we are recruiting for a Site Installation Technician to join our team in Turkey. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
- Execute installation works with predefined tasks and documents according to the predefined steps.
- Supervise subcontractor activities.
- Enforce all health and safety policies, including conducting toolbox safety talks.
- Ensure that the daily installation schedule is met and that planned installation activities are implemented on time, with quality and safety in mind.
- Perform loop tests on field cabling.
- Maintain tooling and consumables in the necessary quantities to support the installation.
- May execute specialized tasks (e.g. torque tightening, crimping, welding).
- May take predefined measurements and document them.
- Assist engineers and project managers in addressing and resolving design and customer issues.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any equivalent.
- Minimum two years of experience in railway signaling.
- Ability to produce documentation (reports, MoS, etc.) of high quality.
- Capability to conduct on-site surveys with customers.
- Possession of solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Experience with signaling on-board projects is a plus.
- Willing to work night shifts when necessary.
