Financial Controller Turkey

We invite you to become a vital part of our EMEA Financial Control & Accounting (FC&A) team as the Financial Controller for our Turkish Premix business. Our FC&A EMEA team, consisting of around 140 dedicated professionals, is on an exciting journey to achieve ambitious goals, and we are seeking a talented individual who shares our passion for excellence and innovation.

In this role, you will lead and execute financial planning, actuals, closing, and reporting activities for the Turkish Premix entities, while fostering strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will act as the primary recipient of Finance Actuals and Closing services provided by our Financial Shared Services team, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide timely, complete, accurate and reliable financial reporting for assigned entities.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Point of contact for the finance business partner.
  • Liaise directly with budget holders to support the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Prepare planning figures (e.g. based on top-down guidance)
  • Point of contact for internal and external audits, including statutory audits
  • Ensure agreed services, as agreed with Financial Shared Services, are delivered to standard.
  • Support management reporting, monthly forecast/actual reporting deck 
  • Responsible for (and analysis of) inventory, CAPEX and first line analysis and insight for actual, forecast and budget and setting up relevant allocation cycles in SAP.
  • Provide all judgement based content (e.g. accruals, provisions, corrections) for the Journal to the Shared Service Centre.
  • Provide evidence for the internal control framework

YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting/financial controlling. 
  • Licensed Chartered Accountant is a strong plus.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in accounting/controlling/auditing and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Knowledge and experience of working in a shared service environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
  • Solid experience in statutory audits.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • A team player with a critical and continuous improvement mindset.
  • An ambitious and talented team player who will drive change within the organization.
  • A self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English and Turkish.
