Description
The DSD Field Service Representative makes an impact by:
- Complete inventories for designated products for required customers to support Turkey Hill Scan Based Trading (SBT) and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs.
- Responsible to monitor accounts for proper rotation and merchandising as assigned by the Field Service Supervisor.
- Provide market conditions and insight upon request and/or when observed.
- Collaborate with customers to discuss opportunities and pass along findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Field Services Supervisor to establish and maintain data necessary for customer delivery processes.
- Responsible to maintain professional relationships with all Turkey Hill Dairy customers and employees.
- Perform all duties in compliance with all corporate and regulatory quality, GLP, and safety regulations.
- Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations.
- Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality.
- Demonstrates the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer.
- Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles.
- Performs all duties within the established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations.
- Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
- Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality.
- Perform all other duties as assigned

- High School diploma or equivalent
- College degree preferred
- 1-3 years of related experience in a retail or similar industry.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Basic knowledge of smart phone technology.
Physical Demands:.

- The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low) and manufacturing setting where noise levels can be high (PPE required).
- The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office or manufacturing environment from 4-8+ hours.
- The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs, and where applicable and when necessary, to perform various job-related tasks
- Must be able to position self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks
- The employee must be able to inspect all job-related equipment (office or floor) to ensure it is in good working condition prior to use. Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) to operate various types of office equipment.
- Must be able to operate all job-related equipment (powered, hand or office) as required
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus
- Ability to lift 20 pounds and/or push/pull 20 pounds on a regular or occasional basis
