Role overview:

The purpose of the role is to establish responsible and accurate pricing, discount, rebate and credit note processing, set up and maintenance to ensure integrity of Order to Cash and Commercial Finance processes of Turkey trading organization.

As such it will be also expanded to forecast and AR analyses, customers and business interaction on trade related topics (Sales In and Sales out Preparation/ Reconciliation, Gross to Net Price, PDC processing, clearing and manage on DSO, customer risks).

All above-mentioned includes but not limited to managing up to 5000 country/customer/material combinations.

Position responsibilities:

  • Process, set up and maintain accurate Pricing data in ERP system. Routine update of selling prices, discounts, rebates, commissions, free goods and credit notes, as per guidance and upon approval from authorized trading organization personnel,
  • Maintain high service level and data quality measured via mandatory monthly check required by applicable Corporate and Affiliate policies and procedures,
  • Work with ESC Warsaw to perform SOX and internal operational controls on a weekly and monthly basis for O2C activities as per Export Market Commercial Finance SOX control matrix,
  • Maintain pricing master data (base price, commissions, discounts and free goods) by updating the conditions based on approved request forms transmitted by authorized commercial personnel of trading organization,
  • Business coordination-preparation of weekly forecast vs actuals. Track the same actuals-invoices in E portal to ensure revenue recognition,
  • AR tracking , clearing, check processing tasks to ESC, ask customers for sending balance through EFT or checks,
  • Preparation of surplus and customer turnover premium tables and submitting them for CFO approval. Sharing with business owners and customers after approval,
  • Work with local commercial and finance teams to support business opportunities implementation in Turkey trading organization area,
  • On-board or phase out customers in a timely manner,
  • Negotiate and influence contractual terms with a partner including implementation of appropriate securitization terms and conditions,
  • Manage commercial contracts by:
  • Creating and maintaining a database of commercial conditions for the TR01 trading organization to ensure appropriate controls and governance,
  • Assessing contractual terms vs business model to ensure compliance with legal and corporate guidelines
  • Ensuring customers have a valid and appropriate for business model agreement,
  • Implementing necessary amendments/modifications to agreements in a timely manner,
  • Aligning legal department and business owners on legal related topics and documentation,
  • Manage Pricing, Rebates, Credit Notes, Free Goods, Commissions etc by:
  • Ensuring implemented prices and commercial conditions are aligned with the contractual obligations or approved campaigns,
  • Implementing rebate agreements in SAP, manual accruals, reconciliation of accruals status on regular basis in timely manner,
  • Reviewing and improving rebate system structure for a market/customer to maximize leverage while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and thresholds,
  • Keeping stakeholders updated on appropriate contractual status and campaigns,
  • Performing timely settlement of rebate agreements,
  • Partnering with sales area personnel (Management, Sales, Fin&Ops, Supply Chain) to ensure successful implementation of tactical plans,
  • Contribute to credit management activities by:
  • Ensuring consistency of credit management approach across the regions and business areas,
  • Seeking continuous enhancement of credit processes,
  • Develop, roll out and maintain operational procedures aligned with applicable regulations, policies and procedures (Permanent Establishment, GMP/Finance, FRAP, Trade Sanctions, Anti-Boycott, SOX etc.),
  • Perform financial planning, regular evaluation and analysis of financial performance indicators to related customers,
  • Monthly consolidate, analyze and communication to country CFO for the financial performance indices,
  • Provide regular training on pricing functionality as well as price change implementation process to trading organization,
  • Ensure back up is trained for own duties.

Required skills, experience and education

  • Language: Turkish minimum C1 level and English minimum C1 level,
  • Sound knowledge on SAP S4 Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD) modules for Master Data Management,
  • Desired knowledge on SAP rebate modules would be advantageous,
  • Analytical skills and attention to details,
  • Good understanding of the data set up impacts on the different functions,
  • Ability to manage, own and audit the data contents,
  • Good communication, presentation, & facilitation skills towards various and multicultural partners,
  • Standard business applications such as MS office Excel, SharePoint, InfoPath, Word, Power Point,
  • Strong customer focus, positive attitude,
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, respect deadlines and work with little supervision,
  • Ability to adapt to a multi-cultural and complex environment,
  • University diploma, license or equivalent in the field of finance, accounting, supply chain or similar,
  • Willing to take initiatives and responsibilities,
  • Willing to challenge/streamline processes.

Location & Expected Travel Percentage

  • Site: Warsaw, Poland/ Istanbul, Turkey,
  • Travel: 5%.
