Program Summary
KBR will help sustain the well-being of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain, as well as Incirlik Air Base, Izmir Air Station, Office of Defense Cooperation –Turkey and the Ankara Support Facility also in Turkey. The company will keep these bases and facilities operating smoothly so deployed Air Force and government personnel can execute their missions without distraction.
KBR’s work will include program management; civil engineering; morale, welfare and recreation support; postal operations; and safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene and ambulance services. It will also provide logistics support, such as vehicle management, fuel operations and air terminal services. KBR received this contract – which has a five-year base period and three one-year options—from the Air Force Installation Contracting Center.
Job Summary
Join the Food Service team as a Storeroom Clerk. This position requires an energetic Food Service professional that enjoys being active and excels in a fast-paced operation. As a proven team player that is highly motivated you will be increasing your knowledge daily working with the Storeroom Supervisor. Prepare yourself to take on the responsibility of a $250k a month inventory while ensuring 100% accountability. Storeroom Clerks ensure all storage areas secure, load/unload subsistence deliveries, are accountable for all subsistence in the storeroom during their shift. Daily Sanitation and Housekeeping will be conducted as required by the Tri-Services Food Code and any discrepancies will be reported to the Storeroom Supervisor. Roles and Responsibilities
- Load and offload subsistence deliveries as required.
- Utilize First in First Out (FIFO) method while verifying dates on received products.
- Receive product requests from kitchen and issue as needed.
- Utilize thaw reports and daily menu’s to properly thaw meats.
- Conduct daily Sanitation and Housekeeping as required in the Tri-Services Food Code.
- Will provide support to Supervisor when conducting Mid and Monthly subsistence inventories.
- Ensure security and accountability of all subsistence during shift.
- All other duties assigned by Management.
Basic Qualifications
- Possess a valid “G” class Forklift Operator’s license.
- Possess a valid “B” class driver’s license.
- Ability to read, write, and speak at a minimum Level II English.
