In any organisation, the sales department plays a pivotal role in the success of the business. The unique and important role of sales is to bridge the gap between the potential customer’s needs and the products/services that the organisation offers that can fulfil their needs. If we consider the purpose of this role in four bullets :

  • Product-Market Fit 
  • All business planning begins and ends with the sales forecast
  • Communicating value from the business to the market 
  • Nothing happens until someone sells something

How will you spend your time at Vodafone?

  • Coordinate Hyperscaler and OTT relationship on behalf of VodafoneTurkey 
  • Manage International Data Sales for all related customer portfolio
  • Strong Business Development mindset to create mutual benefits of companies by thinking out of box for potential OTT&Hyperscaler&CDN partnerships 
  • Achieve revenue targets through Wholesale Data Sales with current and potential OTT&Hyperscaler&CDN partners
  • Knowledge of various online video, OTT, attributioni analytics and other technology companies
  • Increase # of OTT&Hyperscaler&CDN partners in Vodafone Turkey customer portfolio
  • Promote to selling wholesale product portfolio (IP Transit, Peering, Local IP, Connectivity, Colocation etc.) 
  • Maximize sales over own network for customers collocated in our own datacenters
  • Periodically arrange conference calls and meetings to be fully aware of their needs and to follow up new leads
  • Make sure regular sales reports are prepared and financial results are accurately reported 
  • Prepare presentations related to Wholesale Data Business when needed
  • Participate in local and international conferences, carrier events to represent the company and introduce Wholesale products in order to seek for new opportunities
  • Monitor sectorial developments and key players in the market; identify market trends 
  • Coordinate the full life-cycle of Data Sales and after sales implementations

You are just the person we’ve been looking for, if you have:

  • BSc. degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar fields
  • Strong written, verbal communication skills &inter-personal skills both in Turkish and English 
  • Know-how in telco product, service and technologies
  • Min. 7 years experience in related field 
  • Driving licence
  • No travel restrictions
