Brief Description:
We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager to join the Barilla & Wasa Brands team within the Marketing Department. The individual will be based in Istanbul and will report to the Head of Marketing Turkey.
You will contribute to defining and implementing the marketing plan of the brand portfolio, according to business strategies and marketing objectives. You will aim to cultivate the brand identity and reputation along with meeting the company’s short- and long-term sales, market share and profit goals. Additionally, this person will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders (Agencies, Sales & Trade Marketing departments, etc.) to prioritize activities, manage the P&L and ensure business objectives are achieved.
Job Description:
· To contribute in the definition of marketing plans for Barilla & Wasa, including setting the strategy, priorities, targets, resource allocation in both ATL and BTL activities.
· To lead the implementation of all marketing activities for Barilla & Wasa as per defined in the marketing plan from communication development, media planning & monitoring, PR & influencers, on-ground brand activations, etc.
· To constantly monitor and ensure achievement of brand performance and KPIs through a close cooperation with Trade Marketing and Sales team.
· To contribute in the analysis of brand’s P&L to ensure appropriate pricing strategies for managed brands and products.
· To lead in the development of product portfolio & pipeline for the managed brands, and subsequently in the management of product launch itself.
· To manage all market research projects related to the managed brands and subsequently propose action plans according to research results in order to excel the brands’ development in the market.
· To provide insight to the company on market trends & opportunities, consumers and customers’ behaviour and understanding, competitive intelligence related to the managed brands & categories.
· To build, manage and nurture the relationships with involved internal and external units (Trade Marketing, Sales, Global & Regional teams, Media/Creative/Digital/PR/Packaging agencies, Influencers & Industry Experts, etc.) in relation to all marketing activities.
· To follow up marketing annual budget and ensure to stay within the annual budget with an effective way for Barilla and bakery brands and products.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field
· Min. 4 years experience in Brand Management in FMCG companies
· Fluency in English
· Proficiency in MS Office Applications
· Strong communication, organization, prioritization skills with a creative and an analytical mind
· Experience in Digital Marketing and Influencer Management is preferred.
