Amazon is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Africa, Middle East, Turkey (AMET) Delivery Service Partner business. This is a unique opportunity to own Delivery Service Partner (DSP) account management based in Istanbul, Turkey and to collaborate with various internal teams to create, innovate and transform our processes to launch new delivery programs across the AMET region, creating opportunities for our DSPs.
This role will require some travel throughout the region.
Key job responsibilities
- End to end ownership of TR DSP recruitment and vetting
- Launch programs in partnership with internal stakeholders and report on the status of key objectives that affect deliverables
- Develop a keen understanding of Last Mile Delivery methods, working with the Partner Acquisition Business Development Team to bring programs to Delivery Service Partners across the AMET region
- Work with key stakeholders to understand program needs, launch timelines and challenges to develop processes and deliver against the team roadmap for the launch of Delivery Partners in AMET
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: build collaborative, influential internal and external relationships with Product, Program, Field teams and other critical stakeholders to gather information, set action plans, and monitor stakeholder execution to improve the program executions
- Communication: communications to key stakeholders on core deliverables
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level
- Bachelor’s degree
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Turkish
- Working in Business development or sale roles with prior experience negotiating deals in Logistics.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Applied knowledge of CRM tools e.g. Salesforce
