Key Account Manager, IND – SE Turkey

GRUNDFOS POMPA (GTR) is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to support our clients in Industry segment including but not limited to industrial end users and market. The Key Account Manager’s primary responsibilities are to apply industry expertise with a high level of technical and commercial understanding, to develop initiatives and activities that have an impact on Grundfos, as well as, to identify the Industrial end users who use Grundfos products and services and/or have the potential to use them. Another main task will be to bring these customers to Grundfos. This role will cover South East Turkey market.

What is the job about?

Some of the position’s main responsibilities are:

  • Establish a healthy and a professional relationship with all customers and in all circumstances represent the
  • Company in a competent and a people oriented manner. Take up the challenge to be able to fill in for all basic and elementary inquiries from the Industrial customers.
  • Proactively analyze inquiries and recommend viable commercial and technical solutions both from a Grundfos and customer perspective.
  • Conduct feasibility of new businesses, markets and projects that have the potential to use Grundfos’ Industrial products and services, and identify customers.
  • Take responsibility of all sales activities of existing and potential Industrial customers, dealers and project stakeholders in South East Turkey area and develop sales activities through industrial market
  • Gather market information about commercial procurement, competitor strategies and activities, and creating appropriate sales strategies, providing recommendations to business managers and realizing sales.
  • Carry out tactical sales plans and active sales activities in accordance with general sales plans and strategy and to help prepare the budget for sales and marketing activities.
  • Being responsible for the sales activities of the dealers in the region, preparing a sales plan with the dealers, checking the stock availability and encouraging the dealers
  • Ensure that all the actions and documents from the initiation phase up to the aftersales activities like opportunities, inquiries, visits, calls, quotations, follow ups, orders are placed in the SAP CRM system by either her/himself.
  • Provide product technical support to end customers, consultants and engineering firms that design projects and systems to ensure the specification and correct application of Grundfos products.
  • Identify the highest potential by using the Industrial end user potential customer database created and turn them into long-term Grundfos customers
  • Handle quotations related to projects, tenders and orders with special pricing with the internal sales engineers, ensuring the whole documentation is prepared by the internal local teams, cross checking these documentation and where required go on site to resolve any commercial and technical issues.
  • To actively cooperate with the marketing department in order to organize the necessary marketing activities for industrial end users customers.
  • Prepare reports (daily/weekly/monthly/annual) about the customers and region under his/her responsibility

What do you need to apply?

To be considered for this position you should fulfill the following requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • English language at a very good level
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Valid Driver license
  • Military obligation: completed for male candidates
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • MS Office and ideally SAP CRM experience
  • Applicants coming from areas of Adana, Gaziantep or Southeastern part of Turkey are highly preferred
