Product Manager 10 month FTC (maternity cover)

As a Product Manager you will be responsible for translating the strategy and roadmap into a clear and prioritised tactical backlog while working closely with the development team to execute the backlog into actionable tasks.

This role is a Hybrid position (Home & Hub Based) – we’re a team located around the United Kingdom with people North, South, East and West but have central hubs in the North (Manchester/Liverpool) and South (London Canary Wharf) – your nearest Hub will be your assigned Hub. Some infrequent travel to our core offices will be required from time to time but for the most part, you’ll be remote.

Key Responsibilities
The product manager adapts to evolving business needs, focusing on delivery, analysis, and strategy. You will navigate design, delivery, and engineering, guided by leadership.
Responsibilities include product ownership, requirement communication, and backlog management in an agile framework. This involves prioritising tasks for clarity among teams.
You will conduct problem analysis to ensure understanding and plan sprints to manage dependencies efficiently.
Collaborating with QA, they define scope and testing criteria. They work with development teams to optimise changes for growth and success.
Understanding business priorities and technical options is crucial. You will research trends, explore ideas, understand user behaviours, and communicate strategy effectively.
Qualifications
Candidates should have experience with large-scale web or mobile applications and subscriptions. They must analyse problems collaboratively.
Experience as a Product Manager or similar role is essential, with comfort in communicating with engineers. Agile or scrum experience is important; ideally working with Engineers, QA, and Designers.
A track record in complex environments is crucial. Strong influencing skills are advantageous for collaboration at all levels.
