Job Responsibilities
- Learn multiple production and operator positions to fill in as needed. Base pay is a grade 3 unless operating a machine.
- Pack and unpack product safely and efficiently
- Be aware of quality and safety issues
- Ability to communicate with other employees
- Assist co-workers as needed
- Will be working in Branded Retail and will do any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- PHYSICAL: No restrictions lifting 40 pounds while bending or twisting
- No restrictions prohibiting working in a 35-degree environment
- No restrictions prohibiting repetitive grasping
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Branded Retail packaging functions and products
- Previous related machine experience

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hiring pay range for this role is $19.50, 6 months $19.80, 1 year $20.15 per hour.
