Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounting Clerk works to ensure the timely processing of all Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Procurement items, as well as ensuring the accuracy of accounting and financial reports.Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Accounts Payable are current through Oracle BOSS®
  • Process Accounts Receivable and routinely update clients and management when invoices are late or delinquent
  • Ensure that Procurement is carried out in an efficient and cost-effective manner to prevent any supply shortages or unnecessary rush shipping charges
  • Work closely with all internal and external clients, suppliers, and corporate accounting representatives to ensure the success of the items listed above.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • HS diploma (Required)
  • Some accounting experience, preferably as an AP or AR clerk (Required)
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures (Required)
  • Competency in MS Office (Required)
  • Experience with spreadsheets and financial reports. (Required)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail (Required)
  • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks (Required)
  • Data entry and word processing skills (Required)

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Language Skills: Basic level proficiency required
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic level proficiency required
  • Reasoning Skills/Abilities: Basic level required
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate use of Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
