Accounting Specialist (1 Year Temporary)

Purpose:

Support to corporate efficiency and values by book-keeping and controlling data entry of invoices for samples and expenses and recording vendor and customer accounts on time and accurately, making reconciliations of the vendor accounts quarterly. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follows on time and accurately all accounts payable in line with defined standards.
  • Handling bookkeeping on especially on the “T&E processes” for both stores and head office.
  • Domestic reconciliations on supplier points’ balance and resolves related problems.
  • Controls and completes information of invoices on payment due dates and approval.
  • Recording, filling, and archiving all the legal documents.
  • To ensure accuracy of accounting records especially regarding on timely OPEX -CAPEX and accruals
  • Following reconciliations of vendors & BA-BS forms
  • Supporting the external audit process and preparing all required data, documents, and information
  • Handles providing internal audit requirements upon request.
  • Supporting government new projects Go-Live processes, e-archive, e-export, e-tax free, etc.
  • Follows e-invoices on the portal and sends them to the related departments.
  • Supporting the general accounting team whenever required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Requisite Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics or related fields from a reputable university
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in preferably Accounting / Finance area is an asset.
  • Good at written & spoken English.
  • SAP knowledge is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Programs especially excels.
  • Strong interest in accounting and long-term career goal in Accounting & Finance fields.
  • Willing to learn Turkish tax laws and legal system.
  • Team oriented.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and presentation skills,

Analytical mind with strong planning and organization skills, ability to realize task to deadline
