Responsibilities:
- Performs supplier invoice/credit memo receipt, capturing and processing, using the system landscape in use;
- Performs payment of invoices and other payment requests, by the due date or as communicated by the requestors;
- Handles suppliers’ queries and disputes on time;
- Performs processing and payment of the travel expenses to the concerned employee(s) in accordance with LSO;
- Performs monthly closing activities as per scope;
- Responsible for documenting all corresponding Internal Controls and following all Compliance rules as per the Internal Controls Matrix and CPP/ LPP;
- Supports local team in internal and external financial audits;
- Acts as backup for colleagues who are on leave, as per the internal regulations;
- Prepares the training documentation for the AP process (systems, processing rules, exceptions, etc.); updating it with the new information received from the supervisors/direct manager;
- Learns new processes, when asked by the team leader or if the current activity requires it, in accordance with preparation and experience;
- Assures ad hoc support for projects, and initiatives;
- Acts as consultant for other team members and is the first go-to person for operational queries;
- Shows ability to manage own schedule to meet the established deadlines;
- Proactively identifies any issues or risks and informs Team Lead, as well as suggests solutions;
- Identifies improvement opportunities and works towards standardization and harmonization of processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/ or experience in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field would be an advantage. (min. 1 year experience);
- Mandatory English and Turkish language skills for business use;
- Fact-driven and strong analytical skills, oriented attitude to identify accuracy;
- Mid-level Excel skills;
- Mandatory ERP previous experience (SAP S4, MS Dynamics NAV, SAP BYD, AS400…), MS Office, and previous AR/ AP process experience;
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities and work towards standardization and harmonization of processes;
- Ability to perform end-to-end processes independently and ask for support when required;
- Ability to proactively identify any issue or risk and suggest solutions;
- Ability to adjust to new situations and prioritize accordingly;
- Proactive implementation of sustainable change.
