We are looking for an Application Scientist to join our team and support the Colors business in Turkey. You will carry out customers’ daily operations, order to deliver process to ensure order is delivered on time in full. This position is a key member of the Sensient team, where you will be required to push boundaries and add value onsite in the office in Gebze, 5 days per week.
What you’ll do:
- Provide color match/color recommendations for customer’s product by performing various trials to model the customer’s formulation and/or process and conducting stability testing
- Service mainly our local customers
- Make application of Sensient products, comparing their application performance with competitive support to the local sales team and distributors in application and related processes
- Evaluate sample library (application and marketing) periodically to ensure accuracy and completeness
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in related engineering departments
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of working experience from food industry
- Experience with various confectionery, bakery applications and recipes are preferred
- Upper Intermediate or higher English knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
