We are currently looking for a Procurement Assistant Manager to join our Balıkesir team.
Location: Balıkesir
Type of contract: Permanent
As a Procurement Assistant Manager, you will have the following responsibilities;
- Provide the Local Sourcing Manager with information and requirements gathered through the daily business and report to him/her on a regular basis
- Proactively understand the business needs and requirements within the assigned scope for functional and plant level requirements
- Carry out as directed any data retrieval, analysis and representation required, mapping how ordering (Peer to Peer) and channels work within the locations serviced, and identify improvements to be targeted
- Integrate Innovation elements from suppliers into Nestlé Innovation and Renovation processes
- Select the appropriate suppliers for the spent category and be responsible for the ownership of the lowest total cost
- Ensure that all the key suppliers within the spent category in charge are completely adhered to Nestlé Suppliers Code
- Ensure that the agreed service level with internal stakeholders is maintained
Which profile are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through development and implementation of sourcing strategies for the spend category in charge over a sustained period (5-6 years)
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead projects
- Demonstrated successful use of risk management, analysis, responsible sourcing and supplier relation management
- Negotiated successfully in cross-functional and cross-market teams
- CAPEX management
- Excellent command of English
