Job Description:
Job Summary
This position maintains a safe, reliable, cost-efficient fleet for the district. He/she meets operational needs, oversees compliance with regulatory agencies, oversees preventive maintenance inspection, manages automotive assets, controls automotive costs, and manages and coaches employees. This positions gets reported to by automotive supervisors, specialists, management trainees, and administrative assistants.
Responsibility for the efficient organization, operational safety and coordination of the fleet management
Central point of contact for all aspects of our fleet
Leading a group of supervisors, technicians and mechanics
Administration, control and organization of the team
Ensuring the operational readiness of the team
Ensures supervisors and mechanics complete safety training
Monitoring all applicable legal guidelines
Monitoring of leasing contracts
Master data maintenance
Coordination of vehicle acceptance and issuance, incl. fuel cards
Planning of all workshop orders
Processing of claims and administrative offences
Manage all communication with our fleet partners
Build and monitor performance management of fleet partners
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
Take on and drive special projects
Continuously drive optimizing internal process
Conducts cost-benefit analysis to determine which vehicles require maintenance or disposal.
Reviews spending trends, audits vendor repair invoices, and conducts monthly audits of high-cost centers.
Inspects accident sites and vehicles as needed to determine the cause of accidents.
Maintains labor relations and address and resolve labor issues.
Coaches and provides feedback to employees.
Conduct performance evaluations and resolve individual and group performance issues
Qualifications:
Fluent in Turkish and English
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Work, and PowerPoint
Analytical/technical thinking and high affinity for numbers
Independent and structured way of working
Abitlity to business travel
Very good communication skills
