Job Description

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive system administration, monitoring, technical efficiency tuning, up-time, alert notifications, and automation tasks for Azure-based systems and services.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure/software application solutions using Azure Web Services, Monitor, and Application Insights while enhancing logging and alerting systems.
• Take ownership of diagnosing and resolving Azure-related issues, providing workarounds or escalating as needed.
• Identify technical risks, propose solutions, and track them to resolution.
• Support Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD, facilitating development, deployment, and testing of application code.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and scripts to automate Azure resources.
• Optimize and maintain CI/CD workflows to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance DevOps practices and ensure seamless integration of pipelines with Azure services.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Resource Groups, Key Vaults, VMs, VMSS, Storage resources, and infrastructure design for applications.
• Engineer level experience in Azure Networking Services: Hub-n-Spoke, Virtual WAN, Virtual Network, Secure Hub, NSGs, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Firewall, VPN Gateway, Azure DNS, Traffic Manager/FrontDoor, Express Route.
• Strong proficiency with containerization technologies (AKS, Docker, Containers, and Kubernetes).
• Advanced experience utilizing Infrastructure as Code in a multi-cloud environment. Proficient with ARM, Bicep, and Terraform as well as DevOps pipelines for application development, deployment, and testing.
• Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Identity and Access models in on-prem (Active Directory) and public cloud (SAML SSO, MFA).
• Experience supporting Application development teams (technical architects, programmers, Data base administrators) on system support / performance optimization activities.
• Experience or Certification for ML/AI technologies in Azure Infrastructure to enhance automation working closely with data scientists and AI specialists to connect models to data.
• Ensure Azure and tenant remains compliant with industry regulations and company policies.
• Ability to maintain detailed architecture diagrams and documentation.
• Strong knowledge and experience in IT Operations and Support Models.

Preferences

• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience (relevant certifications are a plus).
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure, with experience in enhancing configuration and design.
• 5+ years of relevant experience within the technology space.
• 5+ years of experience planning, designing, documenting, and driving architecture.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with automation and orchestration to deploy architecture.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance considerations in Azure Infrastructure.
• Expert in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Azure Infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications in cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure AI services and integration capabilities.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Expert (AZ-305).
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Professional.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
