Job Description

As a Business Systems Consultant, Web Process in AbbVie’s Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team, you’ll have opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to create solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better. 

In this role you’ll be responsible for: 

(30%) Strategic alignment by: 

• Managing project intake, project execution, process definition and process optimization.
• Work as the subject matter expert for delivering web projects and the functional capabilities of the AEM component and form libraries.
• Managing the enterprise portfolio and roadmap which includes forecasting and scheduling of work based on priority.
• Attending daily “standup” style meetings to review project statuses and ensure the team remains unblocked.
• Owning and implementing new processes and optimizing existing processes required to deliver ADMP web projects.
• Delivering project estimates and tracking approvals.

(30%) Ensuring that as BTS we are consistent in applying our core capabilities to deliver technology solutions with speed, agility, and efficiency by: 

• Moving a project forward with less than perfect information.
• Identifying re-use opportunities and suggest MVP solutions.
• Working with minimal oversight and ensuring that SLAs are met, projects are delivered on time, and delays are proactively communicated to avoid escalation.

(40%) Nurturing business and stakeholder relationships by: 

• Work closely with AbbVie’s Digital Lab for intake, AbbVie’s Compliance teams for web standards, delivery teams for execution of work, project managers for status and external digital/creative agencies.
• Collaborating with our Web Specialists from Digital Lab and Compliance Teams to clarify requirements and ensure the work is reflective of the needs of the stakeholders.
• Serving as the single point of contact for escalations. Ensure escalations are promptly resolved.

Qualifications

Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role: 

Required: 

• Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 6 years’ experience; PhD with 2 years’ experience.
• 4+ years of technology experience in a digital marketing organization with hands-on experience in web applications
• Previous experience as a web developer, web tester, or content author.
• Experience managing projects or as a scrum master.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the drive to take on new challenges.
• Previous experience working with web applications.
• Worked in an agile/scrum environment.
• Strong IT analysis and communication skills.
• Ability to self-manage time and priorities.
