Day in the Life of a Channel Sales Manager Turkey & CIS
As a Channels Sales Manager, you are Responsible for recruiting, training, and managing authorized resellers to sell company products and services in Turkey & CIS countries. Maximize revenue through all sales-oriented activities including adding value to products, support of sales promotions, advertising, and marketing activities.
Identify and pursue new business through effective management of reseller/distributor representative companies and associates. Achieve business revenue objectives by assigned reseller entity. Assure distributor reps are educated on our products.
You will work towards achieving business goals and will be measured on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. As such, you will be required to maintain accurate, timely forecasts, Channel Partner commitment, and Funnel reports and provide monthly business reports.
Responsible to Track and monitor end-user customer satisfaction to retain business and execute marketing and promotions strategies to achieve or exceed new sales revenue targets. Completes administrative reporting on time and accurately forecasts revenues.
Responsibilities
- Forecast and funnel growth.
- Manage, train, motivate, and direct the team to optimize productivity and promote professional growth.
- Develop a deep knowledge of local Key Accounts in terms of their organization, spending, and projects for T&M
- Provide sales presentations for all Fluke Industrial Group product lines.
- Master the basic features and benefits of our primary products.
- Know local company players in our Test and Measurement industry and evaluate them where required. Gathers information on the market and competition to proactively develop and maintain the distributor’s strategy.
- Implements the distribution channel collaborating strategy for distributors.
- Develop new distribution accounts and maintains a durable relationship with distributors.
- Coordinates company’s resources (MarCom, Technical Support, etc.) to reach objectives where appropriate.
Your Team
You will be working with an international and diverse team located in different locations in the Middle East, Europe, and the USA.
Experience
- Based in Istanbul Turkey.
- Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or equivalent
- Customer-friendly attitude and a minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience and if possible, business partner management experience
- Proven experience of engaging directly with customers.
- Proven experience in end-user sales. An experience within the Solar and Distributed Energy sectors is a plus.
- Solid understanding of the Electrical Market and Test & Measurement industry and players/competitors
- Flexibility to travel within Turkey & CIS Countries
- Proven legal Compliance record.
- Driving License
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

- Fluent in Turkish and English, all verbally and written.
- Ability to translate technical product information into strong customer value propositions.
- Excellent Sales Skills from Prospecting to Closing.
- Good Communication and negotiation skills
- Strong team player with the ability to work successfully in a multicultural organization.
- Adaptable and result oriented.
- Self-starter, proactive and problem-solver.
