Cluster Assistant in Istanbul, Turkey

We are looking for a Cluster Assistant for our external Vendor Flex locations based

in Istanbul.

You will look after one or more strategic Vendor, and eventual respective 3PL, partnering with Amazon. You will be responsible for coordinating the operational processes and workflow of Amazon customer orders, monitoring of several key performance indicators and constant communication with the involved stakeholders.

As a logistics coordinator, you are a local representative for Amazon where communicating with both internal and external stakeholders, superiors and other departments will be an important part of your daily work. You will be technically knowledgeable, and you will showcase role-model behavior, commitment, reliability, work safety and quality.

Being Vendor Flex organization mostly managed in a remote professional environment, remote team work and communication skills will be crucial. Similarly, due to Vendor Flex business continuous evolution, you will be regularly involved in continuous improvement/development of processes and new opportunities.

Willingness to travel is a must as you may at times be mobilised to other Vendor Flex locations to provide support.

Key job responsibilities

• Participation in the coordination and further development of all processes in the Vendor Flex area within the framework of Amazon-Vendor partnership

• Supervision of the service relationship with a focus on the processes in the following areas in the warehouse of the logistics service provider: Receive, Stow, Pick, Pack, Shipping & Transportation, Quality, Stock Integrity, Transfers

• Direct contact with representatives of Vendor, its eventual respective 3PL, as well as with all the Amazon support functions

• Control, analysis and improvement of key figures taking corporate goals into account

• Vendor Flex network support, in particular related to warehouses management / launches / closures / relocations / conversions / business continuous improvement and new opportunities

Basic Qualifications

• Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment

• Advanced proficiency in Turkish in both written and verbal communication

• Good knowledge of English (B1 or equivalent) to communicate with other employees in oral and written form, use of English software, etc.

• Relevant experience working with data analytics and using these metrics to identify problems

• Valid driving license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of stakeholder management including building and maintaining professional relationships and communications

• Experience in an operational environment, such as logistics, retail, hospitality, or customer service
