Job Identification:

We are now seeking for a Cost Accounting Specialist in RTR team in Finance Service Center, Group Office.

What We Expect:

  • Deliver the highest quality of service as defined by the team leader in conjunction with the business units 
  • Meet individual objectives and contribute to the achievement of the team’s and Service Center’s overall objectives 
  • Meet Service Partnership Agreements (SPAs) and productivity targets 
  • Execute cost accounting processes 
  • Establish a good relationship with customers maintaining open communication channels and developing high standards for service delivery 
  • Analyze and report the reason for standard vs actual cost variances 
  • Report monthly inventory results (stocks, damages, differences etc.) 
  • Ensure compliance with CCI group accounting policies & IFRS 
  • Ensure accurate and timely standard cost calculation and actual cost accounting 
  • Ensure accurate, timely and complete entry and processing of journals 
  • Ensure adherence with the monthly and yearly accounting reporting cycles 
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, Service Center standards and Service Partnership Agreements (SPAs) 
  • Actively identify control gaps and recommend possible solutions 
  • Recognize and communicate potential issues/risks within the team and work with the team to generate solutions 
  • Providing the internal / external audit requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Min. 2-3 years in an accounting/finance role with an accumulated knowledge of general accounting principles 
  • Good command of English, both written and verbal is a prerequisite; Knowledge of one of the following languages will be an asset: Turkish, Arabic, Russian or any of CA local languages 
  • Ability to interact courteously with customers with a high quality of service 
  • Ability to analyze customer needs through soliciting, evaluating and acting upon customer feedback 
  • Ability to coordinate with other internal departments to deliver a seamless service to customers
  • Solid quantitative and analytical skills 
  • Confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – accepting/adapting to cultural differences.
