Credit Control Manager

The Role

The position will provide support to Finance and Brokers to ensure and maintain and control revenue accuracy. It will act as a liaison between finance, brokers, management, and be the contact person with external partners e.g., insurance companies, reinsurance companies and accounting partners’ communications and co-operation including administrations, controlling, collection management and accounting-finance related tasks.

  • Manage overdue receivables by contacting policyholders and overseeing customer accounts.
  • Ensure timely payments, accurate allocation, and resolve billing disputes with brokers and placement teams.
  • Respond to customer inquiries professionally and maintain proactive communication with clients, carriers, and legal teams.
  • Prepare monthly payables/receivables aging reports, quarterly overdue receivables, and bad debt provision reports.
  • Perform daily collections, policy closing processes, and reconcile monthly premiums, commissions, and bank statements.
  • Monitor client payments, follow up on unpaid fees, and ensure accurate data in the broking system.
  • Support the Financial Controller in internal reporting, regulatory management, and financial communications.
  • Provide regular updates and KPI analysis to the Financial Controller, assist with treasury management and cash flow forecasting.
  • Lead and train the Credit Control team, ensuring adherence to procedures and best practices.

The Requirements

  • 8-10 years of industry experience (preferably in insurance or brokerage, or related fields such as administration, controlling, finance, or collections).
  • Excellent proficiency in both English and Turkish
  • Administrative/controlling mindset with market and process understanding.
  • Strong negotiation skills with carriers, reinsurers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Proactive problem-solving and end-to-end process knowledge in insurance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
