Job Description

The Resilience Operation Centre (ROC) provides oversight and support to the 1st line of defense (1LoD) to ensure compliance with resiliency policies, driving best practices in line with current standards and regulatory requirements.

You will report to the Business Manager and focuses on the North America and Spanish Latam regions. It involves being a subject matter expert in areas like Technology Resilience/Recovery and Operational Resilience. You will support regional crisis management and provides 24/7 coverage in collaboration with other ROCs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • You will assist 1LoD teams with technology and operational resilience through advice, monitoring, training, and testing.
  • You will support regional crisis management following the Global Crisis Management Framework.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of resiliency processes and adapting to regulatory changes.
  • Conduct resilience risk assessments and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Promote efficiency by collaborating with other ROCs and automating processes.
  • Keep informed of new resilience regulations through the Global Watchtower process.
  • Implement industry-standard resilience practices across tech, cyber, and operations.
  • You will build insights into regional resilience risks to improve service recovery.
  • Manage crisis response and ensure appropriate actions are taken.

Key activities include planning, testing, consulting for 1LoD, client/regulatory audits, supporting M&A activities, addressing Critical Supplier RSQ exceptions, and responding to SME RFIs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working in IT areas related with business & operational continuity
  • Experience with Resilience-disciplines, business continuity and disaster recovery (Business, Operational, Cyber and Tech)
  • Experience dealing with different partners and engagement with different part of the business
  • Understanding of IT Infrastructure, Cloud, information security
  • Experience in project management
  • Strong Documentation skills
  • Understanding of the Resilience-Regulatory Landscape
  • Good and concise communications to a variety of stakeholders

Desired Certifications

  • CBCP, CBCI , & PMP.

Additional Information

This is a permanent hybrid role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
