Hours for this position are 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday through Friday.

The DTR Shipping Clerk II makes an impact by

  • Utilize Yard Management software to record, track and move trailers around the facility by assigning to a yard jockey.
  • Maintain an accurate log of all contractors and visitors on site and assigning appropriate badges to them.
  • Check in all drivers to ensure arrival to facility and notify appropriate department of their arrival.
  • Print and dispense Bill of Ladings (BOL) to drivers
  • Accurately enter data related to the receiving of materials (bottles, pallets, etc.) to the facility.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with all corporate and regulatory quality, GLP, and safety regulations.
  • Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations.
  • Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality.
  • Demonstrates the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer.
  • Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Two (2) years of service in a customer service, admin, shipping office or related industry.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong computer skills, especially in the Microsoft Office suite.

Physical Demands –

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

  • The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low) and manufacturing setting where noise levels can be high (PPE required).
  • The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office or manufacturing environment from 4-8+ hours.
  • The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs, and where applicable and when necessary, to perform various job-related tasks
  • Must be able to position self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks
  • The employee must be able to inspect all job-related equipment (office or floor) to ensure it is in good working condition prior to use. Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) to operate various types of office equipment.
  • Must be able to operate all job-related equipment (powered, hand or office) as required
  • Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds and/or push/pull 20 pounds on a regular or occasional basis
