We are seeking an experienced ECM Analyst to join our team in the Ankara, Turkey.
The Engineering Change Management Engineer role will participate in the manufacturing and industrialization activities for switchgear and transformer plants’ new product introduction (NPI) projects through all stages of development into release for production. This position will participate in the development and implementation of robust manufacturing processes, as well as the associated documentation, to ensure the successful launch of new and/or improved switchgear and transformer products and processes. She/He will collaborate with other functions and suppliers to facilitate efficient industrialization and to drive schedule performance while meeting safety, quality, and cost expectations.
What you’ll do:

Managing master data, including creation, updates, and drops.

Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.

Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
-
Ability to perform detailed and accurate inputs into a master data system
-
Gather information and participate in cost reduction proposals, as well as assist in the implementation of cost out ideas to meet cost out objectives.

Determining administrative system improvements (SAP Master Data, BOM, drawings and database changes), providing time studies and implementing change referring to the Change Management procedures.

Manage queue of Engineering Change’s (EC’s), determine impact, and communicate with necessary parties.

Assist manufacturing engineering in the development and maintenance of the SuperRouting; operations, material allocations and programming links to the Marketing configurator.
-
Develop and maintain product databases documenting configuration options, rules, related production impact, pricing and order guides.
-
Analyze and coordinate engineering and marketing requirements to maintain the Marketing Configurator.
-
Detailed cost calculation for current and new products.
-
Support customer complaint root cause analysis and corrective actions which are impacted by the configurator.

Perform Support Pack testing for ERP system upgrades.
-
Provide real time support to marketing, manufacturing, engineering and other areas as needed for configuration questions, issues, changes, programming assistance and training.

Participates in concurrent engineering efforts, critical design reviews, Design For Manufacturing and value engineering initiatives as growth opportunities.

Participates in new product development projects following ProLaunch. participate the implementation of new product designs into the manufacturing environment, including manufacturing documentation (PFMEA, Control plan, Work instructions, SW&WI, Punclist), routing, tooling and training for any new or significantly changed Medium Voltage Transformer and Switchgear Assemblies.

Participates manufacturing and industrialization efforts for Medium Voltage switchgear and transformer projects and product extensions as well as for product robustness improvement projects for existing products.

Review Engineering drawings for manufacturability and create technical documentation packages as required to support supply chain in the quotation process.

Join prototype builds through developing pilot production lines and associated processes as well as through scheduling and coordinating pilot builds at the plant.

Participate on creating and implementing process controls, work instructions, and standard work, and provide relevant training to plant personnel.

Drive production readiness at the plant across all functions; support production trial runs, track issues, and follow up with appropriate resources to ensure issue resolution and closure; ensure production line is set up and production processes are validated.

Promotes culture of continuous improvement and understands lean manufacturing techniques as they apply to eliminate waste and deliver products to customer’s expectations.
Qualifications:

BSC, MSC, Industrial Engineer
-
At least 5 Years of experience in a similar position
Skills:
-
Knowledge in ERP Systems SAP
-
Working knowledge of production tooling and assembly fixtures.
-
Software development skills
-
Technical knowledge of electro-mechanical components and assemblies.
-
Fluent in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
-
Working knowledge of part/assembly drawings and bills of materials.
-
Experience in new product development and industrialization.
-
Experience with design of production tooling and assembly/test fixture development.
-
Demonstrated ability to develop production layouts and process work instructions.
-
Working knowledge of basic quality tools, such as, capability studies and gage R&Rs.
-
Knowledge of Six Sigma, VA/VE, and LEAN manufacturing tools.
-
Experience with shop floor control processes and technology (barcoding, product/process traceability).
-
Working knowledge of core feeder processes (molding, stamping, turning, machining, brazing/welding).
-
PDM-Creo-Enovio / Model manager (CAD)
-
Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques – i.e. value stream mapping, one piece flow, etc.

Understanding of problem solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) D, root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis

Knowledge of industry and customer specific quality processes (i.e., ISO9001 etc).

Proficiency in MiniTab; knowledge of Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing.

Experience in the Assembly and testing of complex electro mechanical products

Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications
