We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and team-oriented individuals as an Engineering manager whose role will be to lead engineering teams and play a pivotal role in optimizing our Electrical Products’ manufacturing and production processes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient utilization of resources, improve workflow, reduce operational costs, and enhance overall productivity. You will collaborate with cross-functional/global teams and drive initiatives aimed at process optimization and continuous improvement. What are my responsibilities?
Implements superior Industrial Engineering (IE) policies and standards, and oversees and manages all production related engineering activities (e.g. equipment layout, workflow design, and accidental prevention measures), within assigned plant(s) or a single site.

Implements superior Process Planning and IE guidelines and procedures, and develops and implements related processes, methods and/or tools.

Plans Process Planning and IE budgets on site or for location assigned, and monitors budget adherence.

Ensures the design for testability and manufacturability of products and the design, realization and optimization of manufacturing & test solutions, technologies and processes.

Drives simultaneous engineering to reduce development times of new products and increase the alignment of production and development.

Ensures technical inspections and investigations, for assigned technical area in production.

Analyzes technical manufacturing or logistics processes and sequences, and proposes improvements projects on site or unit level.

Proposes procedure advancements, develops performance improvement initiatives and implements related technical infrastructure.

Liaises with other engineering functions, external vendors or service providers.

Manages overall ramp-up phase for mission critical equipment and machines, and approves respective work deliveries.

Ensures process documentation.

Manages organization unit(s) assigned, and leads and/or coordinates dedicated Management, Professionals and staff.
*Defines the right manufacturing method for the entire production area
*Ensures the optimized technology in the plant
*Leads continous improvement activities and develops people
What do I need to qualify for this job?
-
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus),

Proficiency in English both written and spoken. German will be an asset,
-
10+ years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment,
-
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership position where worked with a team of engineers or professionals,

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools to make data-driven decisions and track key performance indicators (KPIs),

Strong project management skills,

Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
-
Experience of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools for continuous improvement (root cause analysis, 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams etc.),

Proficiency in relevant software, ERP tools and systems (Good command on SAP is a must),

Proficiency in engineering principles and methodologies, including process optimization, work measurement, time & motion studies, resource planning and facility layout design,

Able to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact.
