The opportunity

Our People Advisory Services – Global Mobility department are looking for a Consultant to join their team in İstanbul.

Your key responsibilities

• Liaise with corporate client contacts to provide planning strategies for their globally mobile employees
• Advise on cross border income taxes and individual tax planning opportunities
• Provide advice relating to pre departure and repatriation tax Planning, prepare as-is reports and provide high quality outputs,
• Work with a global network of EY offices to assist with our client’s needs
• Utilize the firm wide methodologies and tools, including computer-based software solutions
• Prepares specific tax returns and several personal income tax calculations,
• Undertakes consultancy/ advisory activities within tax and general mobility aspects.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

• Experience in individual income tax, employment taxes or employee share plans would be advantageous
• Experience in Payroll, salary and tax computation

Requirements

• Strong academic background including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field,
• 0-3 years’ experience, ideally within a professional services environment
• Strong organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
• Good command of English – excellent written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and work ethic
• Strong follow- up and timeliness
• Male candidates must have fulfilled or postponed their military service obligations
• No travel restrictions
