We have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join us at Turkey. To be successful in this role, 7×24 technical support, solving technical problems and incidents and implementing service projects/contracts, commissioning, Start-up for all Honeywell Process Measurement and Control customers/internal salespeople.

Key Requirements:

  • Provide 7×24 technical support (on-site, phone, modem, internet) for Honeywell customers.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer-reported complaints and problems.
  • Participate in replacement and upgrade projects.
  • Execute periodic site visits, predictive and preventive maintenance of Honeywell systems.
  • Give technical training for the systems under his/her supervision and participate in analysing the customer’s specifications.
  • Follow-up order placement and delivery status of project equipment or spare parts from Honeywell and third parties.
  • Attend all service meetings and decide on job planning, be ready on the job site as necessary and take action.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation after the service project and send it to the customer on time, and minimize the cost and time of the contracts/projects.
  • Give technical training to the customers.
  • Create new sales opportunities during the application of the project.
  • Use Honeywell-generated tools to improve processes.
  • Take all the training related to HSE, create SOSs on the system.
  • Job sites of the responsible contracts/projects in Turkey and other countries.

Key skills and qualifications

  • University degree in one of the engineering departments (electrical, electronic, control, mechanical and mechatronics engineering)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Gas Metering, Gas Analysers preferably in Gas Distribution, Gas Fired Power Plants, Skid Builders, OEM & EPCs.
  • Basic computer and control knowledge.
