Field Service Engineer – Land base

We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join our team as a to support our customers through professional service Field Service Engineer- Land base, maintenance and optimization of Alfa Laval equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for executing and providing technical support to customer: commissioning, installing, testing, repairing and maintaining as well as condition monitoring and energy audits on products, modules and systems at customer site
• Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve technical problems with application and deep product knowledge on customers site
• Train customer on the features of products they have purchased
• Preparation of the service job to execute/resolve at the shortest possible time
• Write service report on site and get it signed by the customer
• Update service execution IT system with relevant information
• Report unsafe practices, incidents and work for continuous improvement
• Capture Installed Base on site and communicate sales opportunities to sales organization.

Your qualifications:

• 2-3 Years of technical and/or field service experience in mechanical, electrical, heat transfer and/or working with rotating machinery (Preferably experience from heavy industry or machinery and/or similar products, experience with High Speed Separators or Decanters is a plus)
• Knowledge and experience with automation, control systems, HMI panels and CPUs
• Good at Microsoft office and can speak and understand English at a good level
• Service-oriented and motivated by being the one who can solve customer technical challenges
• Communicate well with everyone, and thrive with a dynamic everyday life that offers new tasks all the time
• Hold B-driver’s license
• You should have a degree/diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to travel frequently
