Finance Account Manager with Turkish

DESCRIPTION

Do you want to become major contributor to the fast paced world of Global Accounts Payable and manage direct relationships with Amazon’s TOP vendors? This role has three layers: root cause analyses and problem solving, communication, and process improvement.

Key job responsibilities

  • You will act as a main point of contact for key Amazon vendors, with the goal to develop strong business relationships, create mutual trust and work on a project basis with key vendors to improve the cooperation on Accounts Payable side.
  • You will identify, analyze and resolve issues related primarily to Purchase Quantity Variance.
  • You will address any account related inquiries from vendors to ensure internal supply chain compliance.
  • You will have an opportunity to influence the processes impacting the vendor business relationships, to come up with new solutions which would be beneficial both to the business and to our vendors.
  • You will interact with internal stakeholders such as Retail, Vendor managers, Accounts Receivable, Fulfillment Centers’ associates, Catalog specialists, and other internal stakeholders to resolve issues, understand the root-causes and propose improvements.

About the team

The team dives deep into the shortages of their portfolio vendors and investigates the root causes. The team gains trust of our vendors through data analyses, deep research and communication on with important operations stakeholders from both Vendor and Amazon side.

From Bratislava, the team directly supports German, French, Italian, Spanish,UK, Polish & Turkish vendors. The team has been built from many experienced people who are dedicated to solving problems, thinking outside of the box and coming up with new problem solving ideas.

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1,790 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Finance (Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, etc) or Supply chain
  • Fluent English – ability to communicate and present complex analysis/data clearly and concisely
  • Native or near native Turkish language
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Analytical skills with the ability to get into the detail, while also seeing and understanding the bigger picture
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOK UP, HLOOK UP, filters, basic functions, tables) Analytical skills with the ability to get into the detail, while also seeing and understanding the bigger picture

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in communication with external customers/suppliers
  • Additional language skills (German, French, Italian, Spanish) are advantageous
  • Experience with Oracle Financials is an advantage
  • SQL skills
