Finance Director – TICA Region (Türkiye, Iran, Central Asia)

The Finance Director is responsible for financial leadership and strategic insights to the TICA Region (Türkiye, Iran, Central Asia). Reporting directly to the TURMECA (Türkiye, Russia, Middle East and Central Asia) regional CFO will serve as the primary business finance partner for the TICA Commercial Leader while working closely with Eurasia Finance organization. This role manages a high-performing team and will act as a strategic business partner to regional leadership, driving financial performance and supporting sustainable business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the business dynamics, proactive financial planning, and robust analytical skills to provide insights that inform decision-making.

A Day in the Life 

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. 

• Strategic Business Partnership to drive growth – A trusted partner to the Commercial Leader who both challenges and supports the leader with sound financial counsel by applying strategic thinking and financial analytics to provide business insights, challenge business assumptions, drive fact-based decision-making, and enable revenue and operating income growth. Serve as a trusted advisor by providing insightful financial analysis and guidance on key business initiatives.
• Commercial Finance Leadership and Strategic Decision Support– Look after all aspects of commercial decision-making, financial performance & reporting, financial control, and contractual negotiations. Deliver useful business insights through advanced analytics and data visualization capabilities. Facilitate approval requirements of customer deals, including pricing, terms and conditions, and adherence to revenue recognition guidance.
• Develop and Manage Operational Financial process – Drive financial accountability and support strategic planning, annual planning and rolling forecasting processes. Lead the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and quarterly forecast process for the TICA Region, tying financial funding to business strategy and return, performing variance analysis, and leading trade-off decisions.
• Drive Business Excellence - Champions innovation and develops a financial framework and collaboration model that drives transformation efforts globally by conceptualizing and developing innovative approaches to programs, products and services.
• Optimize team performance and cross-functional partnerships – Enables team to pursue possibilities that create sustainable value and quality outcomes. Empower the team with meaningful decision-making and ownership. Creates a culture that emphasizes ongoing learning and development and encourages others to seek and learn from diverse perspectives. Focuses on driving continuous improvement and quality outcomes.

Must Have:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: 13+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting with 7+ years of managerial experience
• Skills: Proven track record in commercial Finance leadership, advanced strategic planning, team building, excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Language: Proficiency in English & Turkish
• Travel: Ability to travel up to 30 % within the region.

Nice to Have:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred
• CPA, CMA, and/or MBA
• Global Finance Experience
• Medical Device, Healthcare or Pharma Industry will be a plus
• Transformation Experience
