What You’ll Do:
As Finance Manager of Criteo Turkey & Central Europe, you will be responsible for accounting, controlling, and reviewing the content of the legal entity accounts, partnering with commercial teams managing Emerging & Central European markets, coordinating with Central Finance teams and ensuring compliance with local rules. You are responsible for controlling and reviewing the financial information and ensuring statutory, tax and legal compliance of legal entities.
This will include:
- Tax, legal, accounting and SOX compliance
- Review of Corporate and related tax preparation, filings and payments
- Performance of SOX controls applicable to your scope
- Monthly tax bookings for Turkish entity
- Coordinate with Tax advisors and Central Finance team
- Assistance of tax audit (if any)
- Monthly E-ledger filling for Turkish entity
- Billing process
- Monthly local billing for Turkish entity
- Credit and Rebill follow up for Turkish entity
- Accounting controlling
- Close and active collaboration with local stakeholders and Finance Shared Services teams (located in Paris & Barcelona) that oversees processing and booking entries related to Accounts Payable, Billing and Accounts Receivable, Taxes and Collection, to ensure timely and accurate resolution of issues
- Quarterly review of financial statements (US GAAP)
- Financial Reporting analytical review (preparation + analysis),
- Deep dive on certain BS areas / unusual items,
- Non standard commercial transactions review (606),
- Regular teamwork with consolidation, tax and legal teams,
- Responsible for reviewing statutory financial statements and presenting them to Boards of Directors,
- Organization of the statutory annual financial statements’ audits,
- Coordination with local tax advisors and local auditors & coordination of local stat filings including surveys
- Ad-hoc contribution to finance-related projects
- Business partnering and projects management
- Partner with country managing directors, leadership team and FP&A on the overall finance and business management of the region
- Contribute to finance/legal/tax related projects to support environment evolution and company’s evolution and growth (organic or acquisition).
Who You Are:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance is required, CPA/CA a plus
- Strong knowledge on Turkish finance process specifics
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Turkish Financial Audit or at least 4 years operational accounting
- Meticulous and detailed nature
- Possesses teamwork, communications and management skills needed for success in a rapidly growing, matrixed and changing organization.
- Strong excel and power point skills (knowledge of SAP desired)
- Excellent communicator in both Turkish and English
