Global Tech – Operations & Corporate Proximity SR. Manager (Africa & Middle East)

THE PRODUCT(S) YOU WILL WORK ON / THE TEAM YOU WILL WORK WITH :

The Operations & Corporate Proximity Senior Manager will ensure roadmap, demand, testing, change, adoption and ultimately value creation of the Operations (Demand, Supply Chain, Customer Operations) and Corporate (Finance, Legal, HR) Product portfolio.

She/He will manage the Functional Proximity teams (Finance, SC, HR, legal) who will be in charge of demand, testing and change management for their respective perimeters. She/He will report to the ME Proximity Director, building jointly the strategy and long-term roadmap for the Operations & Corporate domains.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Operations & Corporate Proximity Senior Manager is the voice of the domains in the Management Entity. They animate the key user community in strong collaboration with global BPOs. They drive change management activities and support deployment of functional products. He has a deep knowledge of local legacy products.

  • Capturing affiliates needs and specificities on a specific product domain:
  • Engage with local process owners to capture and understand their needs related to existing or non-existing global Tech products, share identified needs with Business Engagement Lead(s)
  • Participate in the priorizationof global product backlog liaising with global product teams in ideation phase.
  • Identify main specificities of affiliates processes & share them to global product teams to fuel design activities.
  • Driving roll-out and change management activities for global products & legacy of their domain scope:
  • Set-up the size of roll-out and change management effort to ensure product adoption & success, allocate resources at affiliate level to the Product Journey
  • Validate Test Scenarios and Cutover Plan to be performed at affiliate level.
  • Drive & perform change activities, from impacts assessment & design of change plan to adoption tracking.
  • Perform other roll-out activities to ensure successful deployment of global products.
  • Monitoring value realization and ensuring continuous improvement
  • Monitor adoption and success realization, quality/quantify value delivered at affiliate level
  • Coordinate the animation of the local community of super users & collect their feedbacks at key steps
  • Ensure continuous improvement of products, connecting with Business Engagement Lead(s) & product teams
  • Participate to change advisory board on their scope
  • Management and development of Proximity Teams
  • Lead and manage their team of Proximity Specialists, providing direction, coaching & support to help them achieve their objectives

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Graduates from relevant departments of universities
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of Tech experience, preferably with companies in the FMCG sector (Food/Beverage/Tobacco industry experience preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in people management
  • Expertise in the product domain scope, with a deep understanding of challenges in the product domain for their geographical scope
  • Mastery of adoption and change management methods & tools
  • Mastery of testing and deployment methods & tools
  • Strong experience in project management
  • Stakeholder engagement & communication/animation skills
  • Mastery of agile principles & associated ways of working
  • Technical foundation (Systems Architecture, Data Analytics, Security…)
  • Team leadership
