Job Description
- Job Title: Graduate Trainee Lead Assessor
- Job Type: Permanent
- Hours: 37.5 hours 8:30am -5pm
- Location: Homebase/Remote
- Closing Date 15th July 2024
- This position will start in September 2024
- Salary: £23.432

Main Purpose of Role
- Undertake training to become Lead Assessor for the UK Climate Change Programme within 3 years.
- Assist in the development of new product offerings particularly in relation to Carbon Neutral related services.
- Undertake data analysis and verification to support verification assignments for UK CCP services, particularly acting as support for Lead Assessor(s) for verification organisations across a range of business sectors against recognised standards such as ISO14064, ISO14068 and UKETS.
- Undertake administration tasks as required.
- Carry out client identification and liaison through online and face to face meetings and attendance at seminars, conferences and events.
- To deliver requested data analysis to high level of accuracy in the required format and within appropriate timescales
- To provide support in the delivery of required administration tasks
- Promote and ensure compliance with all UK policies and systems, including Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety systems.
- At all times, adopt a safe behaviour by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues and clients, in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications
How to be a successful candidate
- To be a successful candidate we are looking for someone who is a Degree Graduate (preferably with an engineering, science and/or climate change related subject component) and ability to work under pressure, travel and work with many tasks at the same time
- Highly computer literate particularly with Microsoft Excel to an advanced level
- Willing to train as a Lead Assessor for ISO 14065 and GHG Verification
- Ability to work to a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
- Hands on mentality and enjoying working in complex and challenging work environments
Experience
- Working with large data sets and complex analytical problems
- Experience within a similar environment is desirable
- UK driving licence is required
