Job Description
What we’re looking for:
The Head of Business Operations Strategy is responsible for collaboratively establishing, implementing, measuring and iterating, operational excellence in the portfolio. Reporting to the president, this role will own and drive the integration, process management, change management and continuous improvement. This leadership role will partner with stakeholders within the commercial team as well as shared functions such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations and Content to effectively establish needs, priorities and paths forward.
This role’s top priority is creating and managing operational KPI’s for the Ag, Aviation and HIMSS portfolio in partnership with their leads, from creation through continuous improvement helping us to operationalize our commercial ambitions.
Role Accountability and Duties:
- Develop and execute operational strategies to align with the overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement operational goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient workflows.
- Provide guidance and support to department heads, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor and report on operational performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain a structured business cadence for regular operational reviews and planning sessions.
- Ensure rigorous preparation of materials for executive and stakeholder meetings.
- Develop strategies, encompassing market analysis, competitive intelligence, and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct capability gap assessments to pinpoint areas for improvement and expansion.
- Develop and refine the organization’s M&A strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Identify potential targets and opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
What you bring to the team:
- Must be a strong leader with minimum of 5 to seven years of experience successfully managing internal relationships at a senior level.
- Ability to lead and conduct analysis and research leading to data driven recommendations.
- Experience and ease establishing external relationships with partners, vendors, and clients, alike.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to construct and evaluate approach to solutions to maximize ROI.
- Experience supporting process improvement, business integration, and continuous improvement initiatives for Sales, Marketing, Content functions.
- Must be a strong collaborator, working well with many types of personalities.
- Proven success navigating large corporate environments, leveraging matrixed resources, services, and platforms.
- Understand and values diversity with businesses and teams.
- Stellar project management skills.

- The salary range for this position is $138K-$175K, depending on experience.
