Bachelor’s Degree in /focus on Engineering or relevant education
Having A or B Class Occupational Health & Safety Certificate
Minimum 5 years of experience with exposure to several HSE/BCM areas
In-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements
Previous HSE/BCM responsibility in warehouse and transport environments
Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001
NEBOSH or IOSH certificate will be an asset
Advanced level in both written and spoken English
Competent with MS Office programs
Job Description:
Responsible for working with the Country HSE Lead to deliver the DSC strategy for employee safety, including safety related aspects of occupational health within the Country.
Ensuring that systems are in place to demonstrate and verify compliance with all HSE/BCM regulatory requirements and other externally driven (global/customer etc.)requirements/programmes
Monitoring compliance to corporate and other applicable certified standards
Providing support, tools and methodologies for specific customer requirements
Supporting HSE/BCM aspects of the new business winning process through solutions design, participation in presentations and consultation meetings,
Supporting effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management as appropriate.
Ensuring preparation and timely issue of all HSE/BCM reports including accidents/incidents, investigation .
