The Opportunity:
Under limited supervision, responsible for selling company’s product and/or services via telephone. Makes outbound calls to existing and potential customers. May be quota carrying or assigned to support the day-to-day sales need of an existing customer. Participate in lead generation strategies, such as cold calling, to identify business prospects and create a list of potential customers. Utilize designated resources to contact customers and gauge their interest in obtaining products or services offered by Avantor. Make product recommendations based on a need or problem to be solved.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining customer relationships remotely. This position focuses on delivering exceptional digital experiences, managing sales inquiries, closing deals, and fostering long-term partnerships with customers through digital platforms like phone, email, or MS Teams calls. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a consultative sales approach, adept at leveraging Avantor’s resources to meet and exceed sales goals.
