Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine checks that include, but not limited to, monitoring of production lines, sanitation standards, HACCP checks, label auditing and weight checks
- Completion and review of documentation
- Assure proper execution of the Jennie-O Turkey Store HACCP, SQF, and NTIS programs, as well as company policies and procedures
- Provide technical support and training in the plant in areas of USDA regulation compliance, process control program analysis investigation, product performance reporting, GMP’s and food safety principles.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to learn to complete basic audits including HACCP, monitoring and verifications, SSOP preoperative and operative sanitation monitoring, weight control checks and online quality audits
- Must be able to work independently and with others with minimal supervision
- Must be willing to work towards becoming knowledgeable to product specifications, GMP policies, SSOP procedures and HACCP programs
- Must be able to maintain accurate and legible documentation of all assigned responsibilities
- Must be able to speak, read and write English and be able to communicate with management
- Must possess basic math skills
- PHYSICAL: No restrictions to work or extended periods of time in a cool or warm environment
- No restrictions lifting up to 50 pounds
Preferred Process
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Past quality or food related experience
