Jennie-O Turkey Store – Production Worker Float 1st Shift – Barron, WI

Job Responsibilities

1. Learn multiple production and operator positions to fill in as needed. Base pay is a grade 3 unless operating a machine.
2. Pack and unpack product safely and efficiently
3. Be aware of quality and safety issues
4. Ability to communicate with other employees
5. Assist co-workers as needed
6. Will be working in Branded Retail and will do any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic math skills
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• PHYSICAL: No restrictions lifting 40 pounds while bending or twisting
• No restrictions prohibiting working in a 35-degree environment
• No restrictions prohibiting repetitive grasping

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Branded Retail packaging functions and products
• Previous related machine experience

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hiring pay range for this role is $19.50, 6 months $19.80, 1 year $20.15 per hour.
